Clamp the water pump in a vice (use protective
jaws).
Pull off V-belt pulley with three-arm puller.

Unclip the circlip from the coolant pump housing.

Knock out cover by driving a suitable mandrel un-
der it (Fig. 1, item 3) at notch (arrow).
