Press impeller on to bearing shaft.
For this purpose place water-pump bearing shaft
on a stable support.
The correct gap dimension (see ”Engineering S
Data S Setting values”) is achieved if the outer face
of the impeller is flush with the front face of the
bearing shaft.
Check the gap dimension with the feeler gauge.
The impeller must be easy to turn and must not
contact the water-pump housing.

Turn pump housing over and align it horizontally on
a suitable support. Press hub on to the bearing
shaft until flush.
For this purpose place bearing shaft together with
the flush-fitting impeller on a stable support.
