USING
THE
OPTICAL
OUTPUT
JACK
ON
THE
CD-63
REAR
PANEL
This
jack
transmits
digital
signals
using
light
through
an
optical-fibre
cable.
Optical
signal
transmission
provides
extremely
pure,
high-level
sound
reproduction
since
there
is
no
signal
loss
through
the
cable
and
since
the
ground
loop
is
completely
isolated,
eliminating
digital
noise.
Connection
method:
1.
In
addition
to
the
CD-63,
a
digital
amplifier
(such
as
the
PM-75
or
PM-95,
which
are
available
separately)
is
required.
2.
Using
an
optical-fipre
cable,
connect
the
OPTICAL
digital
output
jack
of
the
CD-63
to
the
OPTICAL
IN
jack
of
the
digital
amplifier
(PM-75,
PM-
95,
etc.).
3.
For
details,
refer
to
the
instruction
manual
supplied
with
the
digital
amplifier.
TROUBLESHOOTING

you
think
a
malfunction
has
occurred,
first
check
the

listed
below,
The
problem
is
likely
to
have
been

by
a
simple
operational
error
or
a

problem.
If
the
problem
cannot
be
corrected
even
after
carrying
out
the
following
checks,
