Splitting - Perkins Engine / GBA20 Gearbox
Servicing on the right-hand side of the
tractor
34. Take off the front right-hand mudguard.
35. Disconnect the flexible sleeve (1) (Fig. 15) fitted to
the suction port.
If necessary, remove the vertical exhaust
assembly (including support) (Fig. 15).
36. Mark then disconnect:
- the hose on the steering ram or on the spool
valve (Orbitrol), depending on the tractor type;
- the lubricating hoses (running to and from the
cooler) (Perkins EEM engine) (Fig. 16).
Servicing on the left-hand side of the
tractor
37. Take off the front left-hand mudguard.
38. Mark then disconnect:
- the hose on the steering ram or on the spool
valve (Orbitrol), depending on the tractor type;
- the gas-oil supply and return hoses on the
engine. Immediately block the ports.
39. Disconnect the cables connected to the starter
positive terminal (Fig. 17).
