Throttle System
Throttle Freeplay Inspection
1. Place the transmission in neutral. Set the parking brake.
2. Start the engine. Allow it to warm up thoroughly.
3. Measure the distance the throttle pedal moves before the engine begins to pick up speed. Freeplay
should be 1/16 to 1/8 inches (1.5-3 mm).
