What to do if my Master Forge Grill burner won't light with a match?
    • M
      Michelle ChandlerAug 11, 2025
If the burner on your Master Forge Grill won't light with a match, make sure the match is reaching the burners by using the match holder found in the cabinet door. Check the fuel level and refill the tank if it's empty. Also, inspect the connection between the valve regulator and LP cylinder coupling, disconnecting and reconnecting if necessary. If the burner inlet is blocked, clean it and the burner as described in the Care and Maintenance section of the Manual.

Excessive flare-ups in your Master Forge Grill may be due to grease and/or residue build-up on the heat tents or in the firebox, so cleaning the grill components is recommended. Also, check if the cooking temperature is too high and lower it accordingly.

How to fix a Master Forge Grill ignitor that won't light?
    • C
      Calvin MatthewsAug 25, 2025
If the burner on your Master Forge Grill won't light using the ignitor, several factors could be at play. First, the igniter electrode might be covered in grease or residue, so try cleaning it. Another potential cause is a loose or disconnected wire on the igniter electrode; inspect the connection and reconnect any wires that have come loose. Also, verify that the battery is working correctly by replacing it, ensuring it's correctly inserted, checking for corrosion, and inspecting wire connections. If the ignition electrode is cracked or broken, it will need to be replaced.

If you're experiencing no gas flow or an obstructed gas flow in your Master Forge Grill, start by ensuring the tank valve is fully opened by turning it counterclockwise. Check the fuel level and replace the fuel if necessary. Inspect the connection between the valve regulator and LP cylinder coupling, disconnect and reconnect if needed. Clean the burner inlet (venturi) and burner following the instructions in the Care and Maintenance section of the manual.

Why is my Master Forge MFA350BNP producing low heat?
    • E
      ereedSep 4, 2025
If your Master Forge Grill is producing low heat, it might be due to the LP-Gas regulator's excess flow device being triggered by rapid pressure changes. To resolve this: * Close the LP-Gas cylinder valve. * Ensure all burner valves are in the “OFF” position. * Slowly open the LP-Gas cylinder valve and wait 10 seconds. * Follow the lighting instructions.
