System Description:
You have purchased a state of the art water conditioning unit which
removes sulfur odor from your raw water supply . It’s simple, with very little
maintenance.
Maintenance May Include the following:
1. After installation, if the odor returns, but only on occasion, it may be
from residual in your homes piping and it would be good to call your
installer to chlorinate all the piping in your home.
2. If odor returns and remains, your unit may need extra media cleaning.
This is done with chlorine bleach.
• To do this, you would add 1 quart of unscented chlorine bleach
to the chlorine tank. This process allows the media to be
thoroughly cleaned during the next regeneration. If a chlorine
bleach odor is noticed the next morning, run your water at a
faucet until it is clear of any chlorine bleach odor.
3. Yearly maintenance is important by your installer to clean the injector
and screen and to confirm your unit is working properly.
4. If the power goes out you should confirm all timer settings are correct
to insure the unit will regenerate on time and properly. See next
page for timer setting information.
