Why won't the power light come on for my Masterbuilt 20070106?
    • C
      Casey LewisJul 31, 2025
If the power light on your Masterbuilt Smoker won't come on, first ensure it's properly plugged into the wall. Then, check your household fuses to make sure they haven't tripped, and confirm that other appliances aren't overloading the same electrical circuit. If the connection is ok, but the power light still won’t come on, the wire connector on the controller may not be properly connected to the smoker.

Why does my Masterbuilt 20070106 take so long to heat up?
    • D
      Darlene RojasAug 6, 2025
If your Masterbuilt Smoker is taking an excessive amount of time to heat up (longer than 60-70 minutes), there are a couple of things to check. Ensure the unit is not plugged into an extension cord, as this can affect its heating performance. Also, make sure the door is closed properly and the latch is securely fastened.

Why is there no smoke coming from my Masterbuilt 20070106?
    • S
      Shawn LoganAug 11, 2025
If your Masterbuilt Smoker is producing no smoke, the most likely cause is that there are no wood chips in the smoker. Add wood chips to the designated area to generate smoke.

What to do if grease is leaking out of my Masterbuilt 20070106?
    • A
      alopezAug 17, 2025
If grease is leaking from your Masterbuilt Smoker through the door and legs, it could be due to several reasons. First, check that the drip pan is correctly positioned so the hole lines up with the drain hole at the bottom of the unit. Second, there might be excess grease or oil buildup in the unit, requiring a thorough cleaning. Finally, ensure the drain tube at the back of the unit is not blocked or mispositioned, preventing proper drainage.

How to fix a gap between the door and the Masterbuilt Smokers?
    • H
      heatherlopezAug 25, 2025
If you notice a gap between the door and the smoker body of your Masterbuilt Smoker during use, the latch may not be holding the door closed tightly enough. Try adjusting the latch to ensure it holds the door more securely against the body.
