GETTING STARTED
Pre-season unit prior to rst use. See PRE-SEASON INSTRUCTIONS.
Before starting the unit, see ADDING WOOD CHIPS OR CHUNKS.
Do not open smoker lid and/or access door unless necessary. Opening smoker lid and/or access door causes
heat to escape and may cause wood to are up. Closing the smoker lid and/or access door will re-stabilize the
temperature and stop are up.
Should wood are up, immediately close smoker lid and/or access door, wait for wood to burn down then open
smoker lid and/or access door again.
CAUTION - All surfaces are HOT and may cause burns. Use protective gloves or long, sturdy cooking tools when
loading/unloading food or racks, and when adding charcoal, wood or water.
