1. CHECK FOR PROPER ASSEMBLY AND PROPER ALIGNMENT OF
MOVING PARTS.
2. ALWAYS USE the blade guard assembly. 3.KNOW THE CONDITION OF
YOUR WET TILE SAW. If any part is missing, bent or does not operate
properly, replace the component before you continue to use the wet tile
saw.
4. Ensure that the wet tile saw is secured to a work surface to prevent the
wet tile saw from tipping or moving while in use.
5. DETERMINE THE TYPE OF WORK YOU ARE GOING TO BE DOING
before you operate the wet tile saw.
6. WEAR EYE PROTECTION. Use ear protection, plugs or muffs, during
extended periods of operation. Wear a face mask or dust mask when the
sawing operation produces dust.
7. NEVER PERFORM ANY OPERATION "FREE HAND," (using only your
hands to support the workpiece). Use the adjustable work fence to
position and guide the workpiece. NEVER perform any operation using
only your hands to support or guide the workpiece.
8. NEVER STAND or have any part of your body in line with the path of the
wet tile saw blade. Keep your hands out of the line of the saw blade.
9. NEVER REACH behind or over the cutting area.
10. FEED WORKPIECE INTO THE BLADE against the direction of rotation
only.
11. NEVER ATTEMPT TO FREE A STALLED BLADE without first turning the
wet tile saw OFF. Turn off the power switch immediately to prevent motor
damage.
12. PROVIDE ADEQUATE SUPPORT to the rear and sides of the wet tile
saw for wide or long workpieces.
13. Ensure the adjustable work fence is parallel to the blade at the front and
rear before use.
14. Never leave the wet tile saw running unattended. Do not leave the wet tile
saw until the blade comes to a complete stop.
