Types of welding beads:
Stringer bead Weave bead
• The stringer bead is formed by
travelling with the torch in a straight
line while keeping the wire and nozzle
centered over the weld joint
(fig L) .
• The weave bead is made by weaving the
wire from side to side while moving with
the torch
(fig M) .
