1) Turn off power to the treadmill and disconnect the power cord.
2) Remove the front shroud as outlined in Section 9.1.
3) Remove the 2 screws holding the choke in place, unplug the choke and remove it (Figures A & B).
4) Remove the pulley from the left side of the motor with a 19 mm socket (Figures C & D). NOTE: You will need to hold the motor shaft in
place with a 32 mm wrench.
5) Remove the 3 screws holding the optical disc to the motor and remove it (Figure E).
6) Remove the 3 screws holding the speed sensor to the motor and remove it (Figures G & H).
7) Unwind the plastic coating from the motor wiring and unplug the speed sensor wire from the reliance box (Figure I & J).
8) Reverse Steps 1-7 to install as new speed sensor.
9) Test the treadmill for function as outlined in Section 9.22.
