Chapter 4, Configuring Your Multi System
4 Select or clear the Enable audio mapping option. Enable this option to
customize the audio mapping settings as explained in step 5, or clear this
option to use your Multi card’s default audio mapping settings. By default,
analog audio output pairs 1/2 and 3/4 will automatically output audio tracks
1/2 and 3/4 respectively from the source connected to Multi SDI output 1.
The analog audio outputs are genlocked to the source selected on the
Genlock pane (see “Specifying your genlock settings” on page 19).
5 If you selected the Enable audio mapping option, customize your Multi
card’s audio mapping as follows:
$ Multi-I/O Select the Source of the audio, and then the Audio tracks
that you want to monitor for each audio output pair. The specified tracks
will be routed to the corresponding Multi analog audio output connectors
for monitoring.
$ Multi-Playback For each of the Multi analog audio output pairs, select
the
Source of the audio and the Audio tracks that you want to monitor.
The specified tracks will be routed to the corresponding Multi analog
audio output connectors for monitoring.
¦NoteThe currently selected genlock frame rate is displayed to the right of
the
Enable audio mapping option. See “Specifying your genlock settings”
on page 19 to modify your genlock settings.
$ You can mute a Multi analog audio output pair by selecting Mute for the
corresponding audio pair.
