Conveyor System
Conveyor drive system should be inspected annually.
Check for worn sprockets and chain.
Check keys and keyways for wear. Replace keys if needed.
Tighten large conveyor chains with slack adjustors mounted to the underside of the conveyor. Tight-
en until the chains pull up to within 7” – 8” of the underside of the conveyor deck. Measurement
should be made from the peak of the arc in the chains. Do not over tighten.
