The two surfaceburnerassembliesare securedin place
duringtransportationwithspringclips.Oncethe rangeis Select modelsfeaturetwo specialSUPER HIGH SPEED
installed,these clipsmay be removedto allowquickand sealedburnerslocatedatthe right-frontand left-rear.Use
easyremovalofthe burnerassemblies, theseburnerstoquicklybringwatertoaboilandwhenusing
largerpans.See informationon ratingplate,locatedonthe
lower range front frame behind the broiler door or lower
___ panel,todetermineifyourappliancefeaturestheseburners.
Clean burner cap after each use especially if a spillover
occurs.Asoiledburnermay resultinimproperignitionor an
unevenflame. When cleaningthe sealed surface burner,
_'______'\ usecareto preventdamageto theignitor.If acleaningcloth
shouldcatchthe ignitor,it could be damagedor broken.

Toremove: Allowburnerstocool.Lift upthecooktop.Grasp /_ _ Ports
burnerassemblythenliftupandtoward backof thecooktop /_.,__ Ignitor
until the air shutter ends on the burner assembly release
from the valves.
To replace: Insert the air shutter ends on the burner _ -- _- Portdirectlybelowignitor
assembly over the valves and lower into place. Replace
cooktop.Turn on each burnerto be sure burnerassembly
has been correctly replaced. The surface burner will not light if the ignitor is damaged,
broken,soiled or wet. The burner will also not light if the
ports, especially the small port located directly below the
ignitor,areblocked. See page 16for cleaning instructions.
