Water and Electric
■ 3/4" (19 mm) inlet valves for hot and cold water. Determine
water hardness levels. Hard or medium levels may require
a water softener.
■ A dedicated, GFCI-equipped circuit for each washer
(see “Electrical Requirements”).
Spacing
■ Washers require 2.4 ft (0.7 m) above the top for maintenance.
■ Washers require 0.79" (20 mm) between the sides for
maintenance and maximum door clearance.
■ Allow 20" (500 mm) behind washer and the wall for
maintenance.

Anchoring Soft-Mount Models
■ If anchoring is necessary, secure the washer to the floor with
two anchoring bolts (not supplied).
■ Drill 2 holes for anchoring bolts, following the illustration to the
right.
■ If necessary, place the feet into a narrow U-shaped section,
so that the washer does not move during operation.
