    • F
      fischerthomasSep 9, 2025
If the clock, indicator words, and/or lights operate but the oven does not heat, the oven may be set for a Cook & Hold or Delay function. Also, the Control Lock may have been set.

Why are there noises coming from my Maytag Ranges oven?
    • H
      Henry LangSep 12, 2025
The oven makes several low level noises. You may hear the oven relays as they go on and off; this is normal. As the oven heats and cools, you may hear sounds of metal parts expanding and contracting; this is normal and will not damage your appliance.

What to do for most concerns with Maytag Ranges?
    • J
      Jason MillerSep 13, 2025
For most concerns, check if the oven controls have been properly set and ensure the plug is securely inserted into the receptacle. Also, check or reset the circuit breaker, check or replace the fuse, and verify the power supply.

Why does my Maytag Range smoothtop surface shows wear?
    • T
      Tyler RodriguezSep 16, 2025
If the smoothtop surface shows wear, consider the following: * For tiny scratches or abrasions, ensure the cooktop and pan bottom are clean, avoid sliding glass or metal pans across the top, ensure the pan bottom is not rough, and use recommended cleaning agents. * For metal marks, avoid sliding metal pans across the top and clean with Cooktop Cleaning Creme when cool. * For brown streaks and specks, remove spills promptly, never wipe with a soiled cloth or sponge, and ensure the cooktop and pan bottom are clean. * For areas with a metallic sheen, use recommended cleaning agents to remove mineral deposits from water and food. * For pitting or flaking, remove sugary boilovers promptly.
