Maintenance Lock
DEATH OR SERIOUS INJURY HAZARD!
NEVER PERFORM WORK OR INSPECTION ON THE MACHINE WITH
THE PLATFORM ELEVATED WITHOUT FIRST BLOCKING THE SCISSOR
ASSEMBLY WITH THE MAINTENANCE LOCK.
Raise the platform approximately 8ft / 2.5m from the ground.
Rotate the Maintenance Lock away from the machine and let it hang down.
Lower the platform until the Maintenance Lock rests securely on the link. Keep clear of the
Maintenance Lock when lowering the platform.
