10.0 Troubleshooting
If the apparatus does not seem to be working correctly, read the instructions again and then check the
following table.
PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE SOLUTION
The cap of the powder container
cannot be unscrewed.
The Easyjet pro is connected
to the turbine and the powder
container is pressurised.
Disconnect the Easyjet pro from
the turbine so as to depressurise
the internal circuit.
No powder comes out of the front
terminal of the polisher during
operation.
Dental unit not connected to the
air circuit.
The tank of the Easyjet pro is
empty.
Front terminal polisher clogged
due to excessive moisture in the
powder or insufcient
cleaning/maintenance.
The level of powder inside the
container is higher than permitted.
Unsuitable powder.
Check the connection between
the dental unit and the air circuit.
Read point “05.2”.
Read point “06.1” and “06.3”.
Remove the powder from the
container and clean it with a dry
cloth. Read point “07.0”
Restore the correct level of
powder in the container (see point
“05.2”).
To enable the apparatus to work
correctly use only powder pro-
duced by MECTRON.
No water comes out of the front
terminal of the polisher during
operation.
Dental unit not connected to the
water circuit.
Water too hard.
Water lter of dental unit clogged.
Check the connection between
the dental unit and the water
circuit.
Read point “06.3 - 07.0”.
Check the connection to the water
circuit of the dental unit.
