Universal Dock guidelines

Operating systems—For optimal performance, use the universal dock with computers running the
Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista, Mac OS operating system that Displaylink can
supporting. Please refer the link of Displaylink, http://www.displaylink.com/downloads.

Power—To use universal dock features, AC power must be connected to the universal dock.

Connecting and disconnecting—The universal dock can be connected to or disconnected from
the computer whether the computer is on or o . (See Step 2: Connecting to the device on page 5
and Disconnecting the universal dock on page 14.)

External devices—When the universal dock is connected to a computer, external devices
may be connected to the ports on the universal dock or to the ports on the computer.

NOTE: It is recommended that AC power be connected to both the universal dock and to the
computer if you plan to use the universal dock for more than 10 minutes at one time.
