3 Disconnecting the universal dock
To disconnect the universal dock from the device, follow these steps:

Click the Safely Remove Hardware icon in the notification area.
Click Safely Remove USB Docking Station. The Safe to Remove Hardware message is displayed.
Disconnect the USB cable from the device (1) and then disconnect the universal dock (2).
