Function Description

The Medify Air MA-112UV/US is an air purifier that utilizes a comprehensive five-step filtration system to remove airborne contaminants. Its primary function is to purify the air in various indoor environments, including homes, offices, and hotels. The purification process involves:

Usage Features

The MA-112UV/US air purifier is designed for user-friendly operation with several control panel functions:

• ON/OFF Button: Powers the unit on and off. When turned on, it starts at speed 1.
• Fan Speed Button (1, 2, 3, 4): Allows manual adjustment of the fan speed to one of four settings.
• SLEEP Button: Activates sleep mode, turning off all other indicator lights and setting the fan speed and noise level to the lowest setting. The sleep indicator light also turns off after 10 seconds. Any key press exits sleep mode.
• TIMER Button (1, 2, 4, 8 hours): Sets an operating timer for 1, 2, 4, or 8 hours, or disables the timer.
• UV/Child-lock Button:
  • UV Function: Pressing this button turns on the UV indicator, and the UV function runs for 20 minutes before automatically turning off. It can be manually turned off by pressing the button again.
  • Child-Lock Function: To activate, press and hold the button for 3 to 5 seconds. To deactivate, press and hold for 30 to 45 seconds. In Child-Lock mode, all other function keys are disabled.
• Ionizer Button/Filter Replacement Reset:
  • Ionizer Mode: Pressing this button turns the ionizer on, indicated by a light. Pressing it again turns the ionizer off.
  • Filter Replacement Reset: When the filter replacement indicator light is flashing, users need to replace the filter and then press and hold the ionizer button for 3 seconds to reset the indicator.

Placement: To ensure optimal performance and ventilation, the unit should be placed with at least a 20-inch (50 cm) distance between the air inlet and any walls or nearby furniture. It is crucial not to obstruct the air intake or clean air outlet.

Maintenance Features

Regular maintenance is essential for the longevity and efficiency of the air purifier.

• Cleaning the Air Purifier:

• Filter Replacement:

  • To replace filters:

    3. Reinstall the side covers by aligning them at the fixed grooves and inserting them until they snap back automatically.
    4. After replacement, plug in the unit, turn it on, and press and hold the ionizer button for 3 seconds to reset the filter indicator light.
