The first stage is a Pre-Filter, which is responsible for capturing larger particles such as hair, fibers, and pet dander. This initial layer helps to extend the life of the subsequent, finer filters. Following the pre-filter is the True HEPA H13 Filter. This high-efficiency filter is rigorously tested to remove 99.9% of particles as small as 0.1 microns. This includes common allergens and irritants like pollen, dust mites, and other tiny airborne particles that are often invisible to the naked eye. The final stage is an Activated Carbon Filter, which contains substantial carbon pellets designed to absorb and eliminate odors and smoke from the air, contributing to a fresher indoor environment.

Power Button: A single press of the power button turns the unit on. After a brief three-second delay, the air purifier will begin operating at Speed 1, indicated by a blue light.
Fan Speed Control: Users can adjust the fan speed to suit their needs by pressing the fan speed button. The available options include:
- Speed 1 (Slow): Ideal for quiet operation and continuous background purification.
- Speed 2 (Medium): Provides a balanced level of purification and noise.
- Speed 3 (Fast): Offers maximum air purification for quicker results, such as when air quality is particularly poor.
- Speed "S" (Sleep Mode): This mode is designed for minimal disturbance. When activated, all lights on the control panel will turn off after 5 seconds, with only the "S" button showing partial lighting. This ensures a dark and quiet environment, perfect for nighttime use. Any button press will exit Sleep Mode.
Standby Mode: When the unit is plugged into a power source, it enters standby mode. The unit lights will illuminate briefly, and after one second, the air purifier will be ready for operation.
Optimal Placement: For effective operation, it is crucial to ensure proper ventilation. The air intake and clean air outlet should not be obstructed. A minimum distance of 20 inches (50 cm) between the air inlet and any walls or furniture is recommended to allow for sufficient airflow and maintain high efficiency.

Maintenance Features

Filter Replacement Indicator: The unit is equipped with a built-in light indicator that notifies the user when it's time to replace the filters. Filters should be replaced approximately every 2,500 hours of use. This indicator takes the guesswork out of maintenance, ensuring timely filter changes.
Turning Off the Filter Replacement Light: After replacing the filters, the filter replacement light needs to be reset. This is done by pressing and holding the button until all lights turn off, then pressing and holding it again until all lights turn on. This action will turn off the filter replacement light.
Filter Replacement Process: The filter replacement process is designed to be straightforward:
1. Preparation: Place the unit on a dry, flat surface.
2. Accessing Filters: Rotate the base of the unit clockwise to remove the filter cover. This allows access to the internal filter housing.
3. Replacing Filters: Remove the old, used filter. It is crucial to replace it only with genuine Medify replacement filters to ensure optimal performance and maintain warranty validity.
4. Reassembly: Reattach the base to the bottom of the unit, ensuring the new filters are properly seated inside. Rotate the base counter-clockwise to securely fasten it.
Important Precaution: Before installing a new filter, users must remove all plastic packaging from the filter. The air purifier should NEVER be operated without a filter installed. Care should also be taken when installing the back cover to avoid injury.
Warranty Requirement: To maintain the lifetime warranty, filters must be replaced with genuine Medify Air replacement filters at least once every three to four months, or after 2,500 hours of use, whichever comes first. This ensures the continuous high performance of the air purifier and validates the warranty terms.
