MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Maintenance and cleaning procedures should be performed at least once every 3
months. This form may be copied and used as a procedural guide and
documentation.

CLEANING AND DISINFECTING THE BED
1. Unplug power cord before cleaning or performing maintenance on electric
bed.
2. Wipe down with disinfectant and allow to dry completely before using bed.
MECHANICAL INSPECTION AND MAINTENANCE
1. Inspect all bed components for damage or excessive wear.
2. Visually examine all welds for cracks.
3. Inspect the deck components for bending or damage.
4. Check actuator ends and its mounting hardware for bending or excessive
wear.
5. Inspect all bolts and fasteners for proper functioning. (Do not over tighten
bolts at pivot points )
6. Check casters to ensure they lock, if applicable, and roll properly.
