11. You do not need to use the choke when
starting if the engine is warm.
WARNING!
Do not use the clearing saw to clear with the
trimmer head at an angle. Stones and objects
can be thrown up to 15 metres and cause
personal injury and/or material damage.
MAINTENANCE
NOTE:
Switch o the engine, release the spark plug
lead from the spark plug and allow the engine
to cool before cleaning and/or maintenance.
Proper maintenance and regular cleaning
are essential for the machine to work
satisfactorily.
Do not rinse the clearing saw with water.
The penetration of water can damage the
engine and electrical parts.
Clean the clearing saw with a dry cloth,
brush or the equivalent.
Emptying the fuel tank
1. Place a suitable container under the fuel
tank.
2. Remove the fuel cap.
3. Allow the fuel to run out into the container.
4. Replace the fuel cap and rmly tighten.
Engine and muer
To avoid the risk of re, regularly clean the
cooling ns on the engine with compressed air
and remove chips, leaves and other debris from
the area round the muer.
Starter
Keep the ventilation openings on the clearing
saw clean to avoid overheating. If the starter
cord is worn or damaged, contact your dealer to
buy a new one.
Screw unions
Check that all screw unions are properly
tightened and that the handle is rmly attached
at regular intervals.
Spark plug
Check the spark plug at regular intervals
and remove any deposits with a wire brush.
Check and adjust the electrode gap. It
should be 0.5 mm.

Ret the spark plug and tighten with the
supplied spanner.
Replace the spark plug with a new one of
the same type if the electrodes are burned,
or after an interval of 100 working hours.
Air lter
NOTE:
Clean the air lter after an interval of 12
working hours to ensure proper and safe
functionality. The engine can be damaged if it
is run without a properly functioning lter.
1. Undo the screw and remove the lter cover
and lter unit.

2. Wash the lter unit with water and a mild
detergent. Do not use petrol or solvents.
3. Allow the lter to dry in the air.
4. Replace the lter unit and lter cover and
tighten the screw.
