2. Change the oil.
3. Remove the spark plug and add a small amount of oil to the cylinder. Slowly pull the starter cord a
few times to get the oil to distribute in the cylinder.
4. Remove grass and debris from the engine.
5. Clean the entire trimmer. Remove all grass and dirt from it.
6. Check that the trimmer parts are in good condition. Broken or damaged parts must be replaced.
7. Tighten loose bolts and nuts.
8. Lubricate the drive shaft and wheel bearings.
9. Place the trimmer in a well-ventilated building.
10. Cover the trimmer with a cloth that does not attract moisture. A plastic sheet, such as tarpaulin,
must not be used. Plastic does not breathe and causes condensation which could damage the
machine.
11. Fold down the handle so that the trimmer takes up less space.
