WARNING
Avoid injury or death from loss of steering control. ProKicker
centering straps prevent the outboard from turning when tilted
up. If using a steering tie bar to a second outboard, disconnect
the steering tie bar to allow steering of the second outboard

SHALLOW WATER OPERATION
When operating your boat in shallow water, the outboard can be
tilted up to a higher tilt angle. Reduce engine speed to idle for tilting.
Operate the outboard at slow speed while tilted up for shallow
water operation. Keep the cooling water intake holes submerged
in the water and continue to check for water discharge from the
water pump indicator hole.

MANUAL TILT RELEASE
If the outboard cannot be tilted using the power tilt switch, the
outboard can be manually tilted.
NOTE: The manual tilt release valve must be tightened before
operating the outboard to prevent the outboard from tilting up
during reverse operation.
