9. Turn manual release valve 3 turns COUNTER-
CLOCKWISE.

10. Manually raise outboard to the full UP position
and engage tilt lock lever to support outboard
while servicing power trim system.

11. Remove 2 nuts securing GREEN and BLUE trim
harness leads to solenoids. Remove bolt secur-
ing BLACK trim harness lead.

12. Remove trim gauge sender (if equipped).
