1. To aid in future removal of the propeller, liberally coat the
propeller shaft splines with one of the following Mercury/
Quicksilver products:

Lubricant with Teflon

2. Install front thrust washer, propeller, rear thrust hub, and
propeller nut onto the shaft.
3. Place a block of wood between gearcase and propeller to
prevent rotation and tighten propeller nut. Secure propeller nut
to the shaft with cotter pin.
