• Lubricate the throttle and shift cable moving components,
pivot locations, and shift detent.

• Steering Cable Grease Fitting (If Equipped) ‑ Rotate
steering wheel to fully retract the steering cable end into
the outboard tilt tube. Lubricate through fitting.

WARNING
Incorrect cable lubrication can cause hydraulic lock, leading to
serious injury or death from loss of boat control. Completely
retract the end of the steering cable before applying lubricant.
2. Lubricate the following with Light Weight Oil.
