  Drifting erratic readings in your Metria Measuring Instruments can be due to several reasons: * **Electrode Fault:** The electrode may be clogged, contaminated, or broken. Check its condition. * **Buffer Problem:** The pH buffers used for calibration may not be fresh. Use freshly prepared pH buffers to calibrate the meter. * **Expired Electrode:** The pH electrode may have reached the end of its lifespan. Replace the pH electrode.
