Why won't the burner ignite on my Mi-T-M Pressure Washer?
- SSteve JenkinsAug 21, 2025
If your Mi-T-M Pressure Washer's burner will not ignite, try the following: 1. Ensure the burner switch is turned on. 2. Refuel if the unit is out of fuel. 3. Open the trigger gun to allow for pressure. 4. Adjust or replace the EMF drive belt if it's loose or broken. 5. Replace the flexible coupler if broken. 6. Drain or replace the fuel filter/water separator if it's dirty or clogged. 7. Tighten all fuel intake connections to prevent the fuel pump from sucking air and eliminate any leaks in the intake line. 8. Check the fuel pump pressure and replace if needed. 9. Replace the fuel nozzle if it's dirty or clogged. 10. Ensure pressure is over 250 PSI/18 Bar to allow burner to come on. 11. Allow unit to cool down before reigniting.
