Guide - To teardown the keyboard

Step 1 Remove rubber feet

Flip the keyboard and use a small flat screwdriver to remove rubber feet, revealing hidden screws.

Step 2 Remove screws from back

Unscrew the 5 screws on the back of the keyboard using a Philips screwdriver.

Step 3 Remove the wrist padding

Pry the wrist padding off, which is held by numerous clips and requires significant force.

Step 4 Remove screws under wrist pad and under keys

Remove exposed screws after wrist pad removal and hidden screws beneath keys.

Remove the top panel

Pry loose the top panel using a spudger after all screws are removed.
