To exhaust (to release pressure after cooking) the
exhaust valve should be aligned with the steam
symbol shown on the lid. During cooking the steam
valve should be closed by pushing the exhaust valve
down and turning it slightly anti-clockwise until it
locks in place as shown in the diagram.
Under certain cooking conditions, the
float valve on the safety eye will be up
when the cooker starts to work with
pressure. When the safety valve is up
the lid cannot be open unless the
pressure in the cooker is
released/exhausted.

Note: Please fix the water case at the right position according to the “Illustration of water case
fixing and removing” before the pressure cookers operate. To prevent odors, after every use,
please remove the water case for cleaning.
