10.10 “ATIS” (Setting of ATIS code and activation –deactivation
of automatic transmission)
Your marine transceiver is able to activate, if necessary, an automatic transmission of your ATIS
identication code each time the PTT is released. This function is only used when navigating in
internal navigable European waters which require automatic transmission of identication.
The user can request an ATIS code from the same authority which releases the radio operators
licenses.
•
Hold down MENU/SELECT until DSC CALL appears on the display
•
Scroll the list of functions with the UP/DOWN keys
•
Select SET UP and conrm by pushing MENU/SELECT. MMSI will be displayed
•
Scroll the list of functions with the UP/DOWN keys
•
Select ATIS and conrm by pushing MENU/SELECT.
The ATIS MMSI code may be enabled or disabled according to your needs.
If regulations in your community do not allow you programming the ATIS code by 
yourself, contact your approved vendor for programming.
Activate the ATIS code only when requested by the proper authorities.
We remind you that when the ATIS function is activated, DSC call are disabled.
