Always disconnect power to chair before removing covers or performing any service procedures.
Risk of electric shock. Always disconnect chair power for three minutes allowing capacitance to dissipate prior to changing the Main PC Board.
When installing new PC Board, only apply pressure at Standoff points. Failure to do so could result in damage to PC Board.
Power up chair. Locate the Diagnostic PC Board.
Press and release the UP or DOWN button until “POSITION CALIBRAT(ion)” is displayed.
Press ENTER button once. The display will show “CALIBRAT(ion) Start". Press ENTER again. Chair cycles. Display shows “CALIBRATING (Scrolling) POSITION”. Hear beeps. Display shows “CALIBRAT COMPLETE”.
Press Base Up/Down to move Base, Back Up/Down for angle. Press Stop, then Home button and hold for 3-4 seconds.
Press & release the Home button. Any button can terminate movement.
Controllers must be within a fifteen foot radius of chair to be able to command the chair.
Press Base Up/Down for height, Back Up/Down for angle. Press Stop, then Quick Exam® button and hold for 3-4 seconds.
Press & release the Quick Exam® button. Any button can terminate movement.
Do not spread shrouds more than necessary to access PC Board or equipment could be damage.
Remove screws from Outer and Inner Shrouds. Lift and spread shrouds away from chair.
The Back can be manually raised and lowered by lifting up on back section and removing the Back Actuator clevis pin.
