Chapter 2: Overview
Setup Menu
The Setup Menu has several functions to customize the use of your GR8—from the language of the user interface to
the contrast of the display. The most important, however, is the ADMIN (administrative) function which controls user
access. Access to the Setup Menu requires entering an ADMIN PIN (factory default pin: 12345).
Menu Icon Description
Settings to adjust the time.
Enables you to add a custom header to printed test results.
Add, edit, or delete User IDs.
Updates Shop, Coupon, User, and Screen information on the GR8 using a
data card.
Settings to adjust the screen contrast and backlight time.
Use this option to turn Coupon printing on or off.
Enables you to create a coupon at the bottom of printed test results.
Stores test results on the data card when enabled (ON). (Data card reader
required)
Sets the language of the display and printouts.
Offers additional administration options such as showing the user ID and
headers for printouts.
Select where the GR8 is located..
Updates the GR8 software using les on an data card.
Allows you to turn the buzzer OFF. Default is ON.
User-dened questions with the answers stored in data les on the data
card.
Formats the data card to receive data. Also erases all data on the card.
Allows you to change your store ID number and includes the number on
printed results.
