Cleaning the drain pump and non-return valve
If the water has not been pumped away at the end of a programme
(excluding the Super short programme), there may be a foreign object
in the drain pump or blocking the non-return valve. These are easy to
remove.
Disconnect the dishwasher from the mains (switch the dishwasher
off, unplug it, or disconnect or disable the fuse).
Take the filter combination out of the wash cabinet (see "Cleaning
and care").
Lift the locking clamp.
Lift out the non-return valve and rinse well under running water.
Make sure that the vent on the external part of the non-return valve
is not blocked (This vent is only visible when the non-return valve
has been taken out). If it is blocked, use a pointed object to release
the blockage.
