Descale
After an activation time of approx.
1hour, the descaling solution is drained
from the steam generator into the
residual water drawer.
The steam generator is then rinsed with
water. This rinse cycle takes approx.
5minutes. During this time, the
Rinsing (5 min) message is displayed.
During the rinsing cycle, the message
Rinsing is displayed.
Once the rinsing cycle is completed, the
water is drained completely into the
residual water drawer and the message
Empty drawer is displayed.
Empty drawer
 Remove the residual water drawer
and empty it.
The message Fit drawer is now
shown in the display.
 Rinse the residual water drawer
thoroughly.
The residual water drawer is
dishwasher-safe or can be washed by
hand using warm water and a little
washing-up liquid.
 Dry the residual water drawer. Make
sure that the metal contact disks
(contacts) at the top of the residual
water drawer are clean and dry.
 Slide the residual water drawer back
into the tower until it clicks into place.
The message Descaling finished will
appear in the display.
 Press the OKbutton.
The soleplate of the iron must then be
rinsed.
