Operation (automatic mode)
18
If Con@ctivity 2.0 is activated, the
r
angehood always operates in
automatic mode (see "Activating
Con@ctivity 2.0").
To operate the rangehood manually,
see "Cooking without Con@ctivity 2.0".
Cooking with Con@ctivity 2.0
(Au
tomatic mode)
Switch a cooking zone on at the
power setting you want.
The rangehood lighting will come on.
After a few seconds the fan will come
on, first at power level 2, then it will
switch immediat
ely to power level 1.
The deflector plate will come out.
The rangehood selects the power
setting
automatically during cooking.
This is determined by the total output of
the coo
ktop, i.e. the number of cooking
zones in operation and the power
settings selected.
If you select a higher power setting or
ar
e using several cooking zones, the
rangehood will switch to a higher
power setting.
When you reduce the power setting
or the number of cooking zones on
the cooktop, the rangehood power
setting will also be reduced.
Examples for power levels 1 to 4
Reaction time
The rangehood reacts with a slight
delay because al
tering the power
setting on the cooktop does not
immediately result in a reduction or
increase in cooking vapours.
Because the cooktop transmits the
info
rmation to the rangehood at
intervals, this can also cause delays.
The reaction can vary from a few
seco
nds to a few minutes.
