Dimming/Switching the
cookt
op lighting on/off
The cooktop lighting can be switched
on a
nd off and dimmed regardless of
whether the deflector plate is extended
or retracted.
P
ress the lighting control briefly to
switch it on or off.
The lighting will switch on at maximum
brightness.
P
ress and hold in the cooktop
lighting control . The brightness
will gradually dim until you release
the control.
P
ress and hold in the lighting control
again to increase the brightness to
the level required and then release it.
Power management
The rangehood features a power
manag
ement system for saving energy.
It is used for switching off the lighting,
reducing the fan power level and
retracting the deflector plate
automatically when the rangehood is no
longer being used.
– If the Intensive setting is selected,
the fan will
automatically switch to
level 3 after 5 minutes.
– When the rangehood has been
switched on but not used for 2 hours,
the power will be r
educed by one
level at a time in 30-minute stages
until the fan finally switches off. The
deflector plate will retract.
– The cooktop lighting will switch off
aut
omatically after 12 hours.
