Setting the water hardness
level selector in the wash
cabinet
The water hardness selector is set at
setting 6 in the factory. It is only necess-
ary to reset the selector if water hard-
ness in your area measures between
650 and 1170 mg/l (36 - 65 °d German
scale, see chart).

For technical reasons do not set the
selector to setting 1 - 3.
Using a screwdriver remove the
cover from the water hardness selec-
tor.
Use a coin or screwdriver to adjust
the water hardness level selector in
the wash cabinet. There is a click as
each setting is reached.
Example:
The water hardness level is
680 mg/l. The water hardness level
selector must be set to setting 4,
650 - 850 mg/l (36 - 47 °d German
scale).
Fit the cover of the water hardness
selector back in place.
