Selecting Extras
You can use options to adjust the pro-
grams.
To do this, you can select or deselect
the extras before starting the selected
program.
 Press the Extras button.
 Select the extra you want and confirm
with OK.
Extras that cannot be combined with
the selected program or extra are indi-
cated by a lock symbol.
If necessary, a corresponding message
appears on the display.
 In this instance, confirm the message
with OK.
 Press the Start button to start the
program.
You can set whether the selected extras
are to remain permanently activated for
the respective program (see “Saving ex-
tras” under “Settings”).
BottleClean
You can select the BottleClean extra to
increase the cleaning performance of
the programs for tall, narrow hollow
containers, e.g., beer glasses, drinking
bottles. Wash items that have been
placed in the glass and bottle holders in
the lower basket are cleaned particularly
thoroughly (see “FlexCare Glass & Bot-
tle” under “Loading the dishwasher”).
When this extra is activated, the pro-
gram cycle time is extended and the
cleaning temperature may increase. This
will increase the water consumption and
energy consumption.
IntenseZone
You can select the IntenseZone extra to
increase the cleaning performance of
the programs in the lower basket.
When this extra is activated, the pro-
gram cycle time is extended and the
cleaning temperature increases. This
will increase the water consumption and
energy consumption.
Extra Clean
You can select this option to increase
the cleaning performance of the pro-
grams.
When this extra is activated, the pro-
gram cycle time is extended and the
cleaning temperature increases. This
will increase the water consumption and
energy consumption.
Extra Dry
You can select this option in order to in-
crease the program drying performance.
When this extra is activated, the pro-
gram cycle time is extended and the fi-
nal rinse temperature increases. This
will increase energy consumption.
