Fault messages
Problem Possible cause and solution
The alarm tone is
sounding.
One of the following
faults appears in the
display:
Before remedying the fault:
Turn off the dishwasher.
Fault FXX: Technical
fault. Switch the appliance
off and back on again. Read
the Operating Instructions
for additional details.
There may be a technical fault.
Turn the dishwasher back on after a few seconds.
Restart the desired program.
If the fault message appears again, there is a techni-
cal fault.
Turn off the dishwasher.
Close the faucet.
Contact Miele Customer Service.
Waterproof fault Turn
the appliance off, close the
water supply and contact
Miele Service.
The Waterproof system has reacted.
Turn off the dishwasher.
Turn off the water supply.
Contact Miele Customer Service.
Fault F 78: A technical
fault has occurred. Turn off
the appliance, close the wa-
ter supply and contact Miele
Service.
Circulation-pump fault.
Turn off the dishwasher.
Turn the dishwasher back on.
Restart the desired program.
If the fault message appears again, there is a techni-
cal fault.
Turn off the dishwasher.
Turn off the water supply.
