Overheat protection
22
Each burner has an overheat protection
feature (internal temperature limiter).
This feature automatically deactivates
burner heating before the burner
overheats. As soon as the burner has
cooled down, heating is automatically
resumed.
Any of the following can trigger the
overheat protection:
Turning on a burner that is not
covered by a pan
Heating empty cookware
Pan bottom is not sitting flat on the
burner
Pan is not conducting heat properly.
You will recognize activation of the
overheat protection if the heat keeps
turning on and off at the highest power
setting.
