Why is my Mijar Maxi Elegant B65 softener overflowing during regeneration?
    • S
      Sonya HillAug 3, 2025
If your Mijar Water Dispenser softener is pouring water through the overflow during regeneration, it might be due to a clogged drain. Inspect the drain hose for bends, collapses, breaks, or clogs. Clear any blockages or replace the hose if necessary. Another potential cause is leakage between the brine valve and the steering valve. Check the connections and verify if the steering valve is drawing brine during the Brine Slow Rinse cycle.

What to do if Mijar Maxi Elegant B65 Water Dispenser provides hard water and the salt level doesn't decrease?
    • L
      Lindsay PalmerAug 7, 2025
If your Mijar Water Dispenser provides hard water, but the salt level remains constant, the salt may have caked and is suspended above the water level. Manually break down the caked salt. Prepare a brine solution (1.5 kg of salt per 6 liters of hot water), pour it into the brine tank, and manually start regeneration. If the water remains hard, replace the resin. Ensure the salt level always exceeds the water level. Also, check the softener connections to ensure they are properly connected: IN – raw water inlet, OUT – treated water outlet.

Why Mijar Maxi Elegant B65 provides hard water but there is less salt in brine tank?
    • J
      Joseph LeachAug 12, 2025
If your Mijar Water Dispenser provides hard water and there is less and less salt in the brine tank, increase the time of refilling the water in brine tank (unscrew the back side of steering valve). Check the softener connections to ensure they are properly connected: IN – raw water inlet, OUT – treated water outlet. Also, prepare a brine solution in a bucket (about 1.5 kg of salt per 6 liters of hot water and mix to dissolve in). Pour the brine into the brine tank and manually start the regeneration. If water after regeneration is still hard, replace the resin. Refill the salt in the brine tank after regeneration. Salt level in the brine tank should always be above the water level

What to do if Mijar Maxi Elegant B65 Water Dispenser is pouring water through the top cover during regeneration?
    • M
      Megan MarshAug 17, 2025
If water pours through the top cover of the brine tank during regeneration of your Mijar Water Dispenser, it could be because the drain outlet from the steering valve is connected to the overflow. Ensure the drain hose is separate from both the steering valve and the overflow. Also, ensure that the drain for the overflow is below the overflow elbow, maintaining an air gap between the drain pipe and the drain hose. Another possible cause is backflow from the sewage system. Provide a drain for overflow below the overflow elbow and the air gap between the drain pipe and the drain hose.

How to fix Mijar Maxi Elegant B65 when regeneration doesn't start automatically?
    • A
      Alexandra FisherAug 23, 2025
If the regeneration cycle of your Mijar Water Dispenser doesn't start automatically, but does when initiated manually, the steering valve programming may be incorrect. Ensure the regeneration frequency is correctly set by adjusting the regeneration pinions for the desired days.

What to do if Mijar Water Dispenser regeneration doesn't start automatically or manually?
    • B
      Brandy WilliamsAug 28, 2025
If the regeneration cycle of your Mijar Water Dispenser does not start automatically, even after manual initiation, check the power supply and electrical connections, including fuses, the plug, and the switch. If necessary, try to regenerate the device manually. A damaged engine could also be the cause, in which case it should be replaced.
