Network Connection
The terminal cannot be directly connected to the network. The subsequent processing of
data over a PC connected to the net is possible via auxiliary easyDOC software (to be
ordered separately as not included in the supply).
All records, i.e. measured values, system parameters, process runs, etc. can be saved on the
USB pen drive and can be read with the easyDOC software. The records can then be
exported with the easyDOC software in different formats, for example Excel, ASCII, PDF.
Connection of Terminal to the unit
Connection for terminal is located on the right external wall of the unit.
Terminal: connection port of Terminal and power supply of terminal.

Commissioning / First Start of the unit
1 Switch off the unit (put on OFF the ON/OFF switch placed in front of the unit).
2 Put the interface cable RJ45 into the Device plug in front of the terminal.
3 Put the other end of the cable into the terminal connection located on the back of the
terminal.
4 Switch on the Unit.
Transfer of Settings between Terminal and Interface
The system administration settings (see also Chapter on
System Administration
) are
saved on the terminal and the interface board. Only the settings in the control panel are
exclusively saved on the terminal.
Once the terminal is connected to the Unit, the settings are transferred as follows:
・ If there are no settings saved on the interface board, they are downloaded from the
terminal to the interface board.
・ If settings are already saved on the interface board, then they are transferred from
the interface board to the terminal.
