Move the XY clamps.
• Position the XY clamps on both edges and at the center of the media.
• Align the XY clamps with the mark (square hole) positions.
Mark (square hole)
• Position the XY clamps so that the clamp centerlines align with the marks (square holes).
The media cannot be transported correctly unless the XY clamp centerlines are aligned
with the marks (square holes).

Check the XY clamp states.
• XY clamps that are not used: Check that they are unclamped.
• XY clamps that are used: Check that they are clamped.
Release Clamp
• The XY clamps should be unclamped individually in locations where the media is not
present. Note that they cannot be operated using the XY clamp lever if they have been
individually unclamped.

Raise the XY clamp lever.
• Hold the media.
