CLOUDS
Moving clouds can be impressive yet difficult subjects; pay close
attention to light changes.
Duration: Depending on how much the clouds are moving,
use 30 minutes–1hour.
Rotation: Concentrate on big cloud formations and rotate
only 15–30 degrees.
Interval: Clouds move faster than it appears; use a small
interval, 2–4 seconds.
Aperture: Use a small to medium aperture to keep everything in
focus, f 4–f 11.
Shutter: Use fast shutter speeds to capture crisp slow moving
clouds, 1/100 seconds. If the clouds are above you and causing
a lot of light variation, it is a good idea to use a slower shutter
speed, around 1/3 seconds.
