Replace the ‘AA’ Batteries
1. Remove the battery pack from the battery
compartment (x-ref ).
2. Remove the used batteries from the
battery pack.
3. Place 8 x ‘AA’ cell alkaline batteries into
the battery pack ensuring that the + and
– terminals are aligned as indicated on
the label.
4. Insert the battery pack into the battery
compartment and close the latches to
secure the battery cover (x-ref ).
High quality alkaline batteries are
recommended for optimum detection
time. Rechargeable alkaline, NiMH or
NiCad batteries may be used but must be
removed and recharged separately. Check
tment of rechargeable batteries prior to
purchase, as some do not comply with
standard size requirements.
